Listfriends, It looks like a vote on the Specter/Harkin Stem Cell Research Bill S.2015 will be close. As you have heard many times on this list, this is the bill which will ensure, under strict guidelines, NIH funding of extremely important research using stem cells from excess embryos produced by in vitro fertilization which otherwise will be destroyed.
