Hi Judy and All,
The common mail options can all be accessed easily
by simply clicking on *buttons* on John Cottingham's
P.I.E.N. site at:

http://www.parkinsons-information-exchange-network-online.com/parkmail/maillist.html

You can SUSPEND your mail wuth one click providing
you are using the SAME computer that is subscribed to
the List. (the one on which you are receiving your posts)

You CAN also suspend your email by sending a three word command
to the [log in to unmask]

That command is SET PARKINSN NOMAIL

Since that is the identical command automatically generated,
with no chance of error, by the one click option, the choice
is rather elementary in my mind.

In a short time the LISTSERV will respond (automatically too,
I might add) with an e-mail informing you (in part)...

SET PARKINSN NOMAIL
Your subscription options have been successfully updated. Here are the exact
settings now in use for your subscription. Please take a few moments to
check that this is indeed what you wanted.

Subscription options for XXX YYYYYY <XXX [log in to unmask]>, list PARKINSN:

NOMAIL You have temporarily turned off your subscription and will
not receive any mail from the list

This is simply confirmation that your COMMAND for NOMAIL
has been received and you can rest easy....

Have a good holiday ...... murray
