Hilary, Jeanette and all, Fortunately this Missouri synod luteran pastor doesn't speak for all lutheran synods amd possibly not all of his own synod members. His attitude is appalling and smug I think. He rejects those who are alive in the world known to loved ones and are or could be productive in favor of unused, unknown, unlive cells. I can not even enter the mind frame he has, nor could I ever want summarily to dismiss so many that are in situations of extreme suffering and pain, knowing the future holds nothing for them as yet but a promise. You are right hilary to be so angry-- I am and I do not have pd .. I am angry for you and for all of you.. some I know and others I do not as yet. He represents all who have so little understanding beyond their own experience. What a pity that is I believe.
