                                        MY GIFT

As she drives us home
a sunset highlights her profile
The reds, and oranges adding
luster to her red hair
My meds worn off,
leaving my body shaking and twisted
my mouth unable to speak.
But my heart is so full of joy
that the pain fades into the background.
I sit and watch her driving,
wishing I could speak
so I could tell her how much I love her
and how much joy she has given me.
But as darkness falls I realize
that even if my body would cooperate,
I just don't have the words.
How can I describe the feelings, joy and pleasures
she's given me?
You make the sun come up to brighten my day,
And you make the stars come out to add beauty to the night.
As the light fades, I keep staring at you, your face illuminated only by the
lights of the passing cars
As many hours as I've spent staring,
I continue to be amazed
by the beauty I see.
But the beauty inside, which is so much more important to me,
shines like a beacon out of the darkness.
You sense my pain and discomfort
and you reach out your hand to me,
just as you reached out your love to me.
And if my face could work
It would surely smile
At your cheerful, "I love you honey"
You took a man,
existing in a dreary gray world
And added color and song to his life.
You took a man who had no hope
And gave him everything to live for
You took a man, who had no joy,
And gave him a wonderful new world to live in.
I wish I had the words,
to thank you for the gifts you've given me,
Or to tell the world,
how perfect I think you are.
But mere words could never do justice to how I feel.
So maybe, my inability to speak right now is a blessing
But I hope you can feel, just some of what I mean,
When I force out a mumbled, "
"I love you"

                                        TIME OUT

A gentle breeze blows softly,
Caressing my cheek.
I feel you touching me,
And smile inside.

The water rushes past
like our time together,
swiftly flowing,
Yet moving so slowly.

I watch the smile in your eyes,
and laugh while you catch a tree,
My lady, my tomboy
so in love with me.

Birds singing in a blue sky
Dapple shade surrounds us
The world is smiling
At two lovers in love

We touch, saying without words,
so much that we feel.
A kiss and a caress
A hug which brings two smiles.

A million shades of green
Reflected in your eyes,
My heart is so full,
And happiness rules the day.

Barefoot, hip out thrust
Unconscious of the sex you exhibit
Raising my desire
With legs that flow forever.

A ragged old blue blanket
Soft upon the ground
Birds stealing your bait
Whenever you turn your back

So many smiles,
so much love
A barefoot little girl fishing
A sex goddess in pearls

Red hair and blue eyes
Brown water and green life
White clouds floating in a clear blue sky
And love fills the air.
