politics and religion are usually controversial. just avoiding them will not make them go away. well--we got rid of humor and we got rid of too much talk of clinical depression and now we can get rid of politics and we can get rid of religion or we got rid of talk of stem cells and maybe we can get rid of talk of hope because that seems to come up a lot or our medications because that seems to come up a lot too controvercial and we're tired of deleting but, who is "we"? my opinion is--let it all be embrace diversity and learn from one and another, appreciate the checks and balances differing views represent. with 1800 of us looking on... there will certainly be differing opinions expressed. most of us aren't even in the same country but, we're all connected, not just electronically. if an emotional response is elicited by a list message-- reflect on what chord it struck inside yourself. if a message does nothing--what use is that? not interesting? not informative? not worth filing into the private archive? I cannot imagine anything more pro-life than this. this is so well put, i'm sharing it with some people i know that aren't on the list i hope you don't mind > Charlotte Mancuso > > Jo Ann Coen wrote: > > > Greg - it's obvious you are a democrat.
