Sounds like those who know you best, Fred & Shawn, may be more observant

than all those trained medicos. If hallucinations like "snakes" in your

mouth are coming from meds,

1) can the offending med be eliminated or replaced?
Our thought exactly. We intend to write 5 of our new team
(unoffficially pahwa by tomorrow
on all

2. Is it possible to ignore or at least not panic at the appearance of the
hallucinations?

Shawn expects to read more on this

On our way home today, Leo and I were rear ended in my Taurus, Leo driving,

in the rain trying to turn into a restaurant in Chillicothe at lunchtime.

I have a sore neck and for awhile had a headache from the "whipping"

forward and back of my head when we were hit. I chose NOT to go to the ER

at Chillicothe, but told policeman I'd go to my own dr/hosp if the

neck/head worsens or doesn't improve. Leo rode with the towtruck driver

who towed the car to Trenton(23 miles one way) and after removing the back

seat was able to get our luggage out of the trunk which couldn't be opened

at the scene. The emergency fuel line shutoff kept the car from starting

and being driven home. After removing the backseat the bodyshop man found

the switch to reset the fuel line.

A teenage boy was driving the chevy pickup that hit us. His truck had to

be towed, too. His parents were following him in their car so he had ride

home.

Policeman drove me to my dad's house and I ate some lunch there until Leo

could get his pickup and come get me. I'm hopeful that Leo and I will not

have any physical problems from this wreck.

Linda, hope the NYC weather is dryer than ours. Enjoy and report back on

Unity Walk.

TTYL,

Jeanette

Hi Linda, and also Jeanette,...Thanks for the inquiry, Linda. My various

doctors are still trying to decide "what is what " but it appears that

'Drs'

Fred & Shawn may have already uncovered the mystery late this aft. by the

simple expedient of buying/reading the 1999 edition of the PDE. It lists

'hallucinations as the 1st side effect! (like "snakes" in your mouth??).

This week it looks like I willl have had at least 4 acupunctures+ 2

energy + 2 cranial--sacreo + 2 more reflexology treatment. Another visit

w/

Pahwa on Thursday aft. Then Sunday nite I am having a 'sleep apnea' study.

The sensory sensations (which some writers have 'hinted" may have a reality

base) will be a part of the study.

In between I frequently sleep or doze.

I am gathering together BTM material. Our new home office is still

pretty much in disarray. My first effort is to organize snd rearrange all

drafts/corresp Then I plan to review the whole draft in light of your

latest

proposal among other things. I am happy to report that Cheryl has also

agreed to continue to be a reader.

Of course, I will scan/read the first three Chapters especially. (Hopefully

this will include identfying the ch 1 revision. which I think has just

reappeared, BUT Linda to be safe if time permits, feel free to send

another!.)

Tomorrow I am drafting a script for Fred and Shawn to use in surveying

availability of interns for the Fall..

Also am writing Maura & lynda abt the book cover.

Do you know if HH may be focusing on the 'global conversation' theme?

More to do. Right now I dom't hve a 'guesstimate' on a timetable but hope

I

will by the end of thix weekend!

Happy autumn,

    Barb

PS. I THINK THI NEW TITLE & subtitle have many positive possibilities.

sweet

Dreams.

<< Hi Barb,

I know it's not a good sign when I don't hear from you for a few

days. If you can, please let me kno w how you aare. Did you get to see

the ENT yet?

No news to report. We are going to NYC on Fri. morning - will

stasy with Ed's sister until Sunday AM, and then going to the Unity Walk.

Will give a full report.

I had a scare this morning. I got an email message, which I thought

was infected - couldn't open it and counldn't delete it. It just kept

freezing up the computer. I ended up having to delete the 70 + messages

in my in box, but luckily a back up text file was saved - so I have

all the messages -- just will be harder to find them like this. The hard

drive is okay - I scanned it for viruses, so it could have been worse.

Hope to hear from you soon,

Lindad

P.S. did you read Hilary's posting about her daughter? Very sad and very

unfair, but she seems to be resigned to accepting it.
