Eddy....

On the contrary.... I believe there are many fine physicians in
the whole Kaiser Family.... but they're hampered by things like
lawyers peeking over their shoulders (uhhh... figuratively), and
not always top-of-the-line equipment (and some downright old
equipment that still work - still does the job - but who wants old
equipment, if there was a choice?

There's a lot of "stuff." going on behind the scenes at ANY HMO,
but IF I only could chose ONE out of the many I'd definitely
chose the biggest , the oldest, most experienced HMO in the world
to be a member of to be a member of - and THAT'S KAISER.

HEY- I *DID* do that! And I only joined after a LOTTA "HMO
research."
It ain't perfect. but it TRIES to work with the patients, on the
whole (But I DO with they'd bring back their big jugs of lollipops
in each office!) <victim of budget cuts> (Mumbling to self --->
but I sure MISS them lollipops)

Would I like to have another brain surgery (NO!), and have it done
by a Kaiser neurosurgeon instead of by Dr. Robt. Iacono. of Loma
Linda Med. Center. or Dr. Gary Heit of Stanford Med. Center who
both did MY pallidotpmy? NOT ON YER LIFE!!!

But - would I trust a Kaiser surgeon to do a C-section, or even
perform a microsurgery on my knee or hip (GOD FORBID I SHOULD
*NEED* either or both of those surgeries), my answer is YES..
