From what I recall about the film:

1. Euthanasia was *required* when you reached a certain age (or
became disabled to a certain point).

2. The dead bodies were re-processed into "soylent green", which was
used as food for the living.

3. I do not recall that the world was "starving", only that the "re-
cycling" of human beings was being done for profit and convenience.

My objections (and I will try and state them again) are not against
*all* kinds of stem cell work, only against the concept of "making
embryos" for such research and/or "treatment".
