You aren't even thinking. Jo Ann Trouble is, Jo Ann, I *am* thinking. I am not blinded by a desire to "do anything" regardless of what it does to our moral structure. I wouldn't want my health to depend on someone else's death when I myself had caused that death. There is an old Yiddish word, "chutzpah". It roughly translates into English as "nerve", but it is more than that. The definition of "chutzpah" that was told to me was about the man who, while on trial for the murder of his parents, asked for mercy because he was an orphan. I think that you have a lot of chutzpah trying to suggest that human beings should be killed just so someone else can get stem cells for the treatment of their illness. Yeah, I know that the current case did not involve killing the baby; but *you* suggested having a baby just to get some cells and "save your love". It is that kind of thinking that makes those of us who question the stem cell issue concerned. Best, Bob ********************************************** Robert A. Fink, M. D., F.A.C.S., P.
