Just saw Michael J. Fox on Regis, LIVE show. Besides discussing his recent Emmy award, the cover photo of MJF on "George" magazine, and how Michael is feeling, the announcement was made of the auction of Spin City items(300) on www.amazon.com to raise money for the MJF Parkinsons Foundation for research to cure Parkinson's. Michael, when asked how he'd describe his symptoms said, "It is different every day. It's like motor oil is for making a car run. My brain doesn't make enough oil so I replace the oil(dopamine) with medication. Today, it's working great." He said if he takes each day as it comes, it's OK. He alluded to if one has one foot on yesterday and one foot on tomorrow then you can see what can happen to today(implying what might fall on today). A briefcase with a script inside, a frramed artist sketch of the set of Spin City, two boxer shorts worn by MJF are among the items that were mentioned on Regis, LlVE. The auction began Wed 10/04 and continues through Wed 10/18 9pm eastern time. Kelly Abbett's original post about the auction is below.
