Hello Tim,
I got the same kind of treatment
a couple of years ago when I signed on. I am a 32 year old criminal
defense lawyer. My friends call me the hiredgun, thus the e-mail
name. This battle for stem cell reasearch is so important to us as
P.D.er's, I guess we feel threatened when we think it might not become a
reality. For some of us and eventually all of us, it is a matter of
life and death.
My name is Rich Pikunis, I was
diagnosed at age 27, I am married for 7 years and have two boys ages 1 1/2 and 2
1/2. Don't leave the list so soon. There is a lot of good going on
here you just have to sort through the other stuff.
I have had several newspaper
article written about me and PD, as well as two TV appearances. I even
testified before Senator Spector's Committe in January of 1999. I asked
this list for some guidance about what I should stress in my several interviews
and Senate testimony and received responses questioning my motives and
sincerity.

surrounding fetal/stem cell research. It lays out a lot of the law.
