I've dealt with leg cramps for a couple years and have tried several (many) things other than medications. My neuro and i have modified my med schedule so I take one extra Sinemet CR around 2:30AM (i hate to get up that early but it reduces my cramps) and I do stretch exercises as soon as i can in the AM. Hot soak is soothing and massage is helpful. Every body is different so you have to work with your neuro and just be creative. Good luck. I'm on the list to have DBS STN surgery. Bill M
