The reason for that is my first diagnosis was Peripheral Neuropathy which has many of the same symptoms. The neuro who diagnosed the PD said I probably do have PN as well. Sinemet helped me immediately so I do not have any of the classic/serious affects other than poor balance; and extreme fatigue since starting. Since you mentioned age, I wonder if you can tell me how fast my PD might progress. I only take Sinemet CR 25/100 4 times a day and a plain Sinemet 25/100 along with the CR early in the morning to help me get going. It would help me to have an idea of what to expect at the age of 80. I am active (when not too tired) and otherwise well. Thanks for your input. Shirley
