My dad had a high PSA reading and I think the docs put him on an antibiotic
for UTI infection and the PSA went down. Now he gets rechecked every 6
months or so.

Stan, I have a friend with very high PSAs, not a PWP, biopsies are
negative. It's not a very precise test.

Get at least a digital exam regularily, a periodic ultrasound and an
ocassional biopsy. Keep your eye on this.

I had my prostate out in 1993.

Subject: psa readings

Hi all:

I'm a 70+ male with Parkinson's (diag. 8 yrs ago). Question: has anyone
heard of a very high psa reading (prostate cancer test) either from
Parkinson's or from medication?

My readings 23, 19.6, 32, all extremely high. Repeated biopsies are
negative.

Thanks for your help.

Stan
