A TENS unit is available through most any physical therapy group. Medicare does pay for it. It must be perscribed by your DR.I have one and find it does give me some relief from sciatic nerve pain as well as cervical spine pain. Note I say some relief. When the pain becomes constant I find the only lasting relief is facet joint injections for the sciatic and epidural injections for cervical spine.
