Dear list members, I'm looking for information on government sponsored disability benefits, such as U.S. Social Security Disability Insurance and Supplemental Security Income, that are available in countries, OTHER than the U.S. I'd appreciate brief, basic information anyone could send about their government's programs, or the URLs of available web sites, on issues such as eligibility, amounts of benefits (i.e. - can an individual or family live on these benefits?), how difficult it is to qualify, eligibility for medical insurance and/or prescription drug insurance coverage, etc. Thanks in advance, Linda Herman [log in to unmask]
