I called the Neurologist this morning before taking my
husband for his 2nd. laser surgery.
Friday is the first day the Doctor will be back in the office,
and I will be his first appointment.

The Doctor calls in every afternoon and when we got home
there was a message from the nurse to call the office.
The Doctor wants me to take a 5th. Sinemet at bedtime,
to keep track of my symptoms,(DSSE), see if anything is worse
or better with an increased dosage.

He had the nurse make an appointment with an Eye
Specialist who is supposed to be a wonder, the best in
town,so he says. Since it hasn't affected my vision,
just my color sense, because
everything is in shades of black and white or gray,
its not a medical emergency, just a Quilting emergency!!
I don't expect the medical field to understand that, nor
should they , I can see ,just not in technicolor anymore.

I never take a Sinemet at bedtime because I sleep
the sleep of the dead for about 4 hours, then wake up wide
awake and can't ever go back to sleep. I haven't tried it since
I've been retired, but it sure played havoc with me at work when
I had been awake since 3-4 a.m., then about 12 hours later I was
completely undone, had to fight off falling asleep. Now I guess it
won't make a difference since I can just go take a nap.

My husband's laser surgery this time was a piece of cake, as they say!
I don't know if there are different kinds of laser surgery, or if it
is were they have to use it, but this time there was no pain, and
the last time it was horrendous.
He has to wait a week and then
he gets to get his glasses changed.

Thanks to all for your concern, it helps a lot to know we are
not alone, and that someone in this world really understands
and cares.

just me,

P.S. The squirrel feeder came today and those people are really
smart, the hinged lid is fixed so it won't stay open. I left it filled
on one of the feeding logs and we'll see if the squirrels find it
before those 3 Blue Jays push it off, knock it over and devour
all the food.
