Hi all,
I've been "listening at the door" through the digest. But,
since I hadn't posted in quite a while, I thought I would "stick
my head inside the doorway" and say "hi." And a special "hello"
to those who keep in touch off-list.
The only thing terribly interesting in my personal PD saga
right now is that the majority of my tremors seem to have moved
into my legs. And, I can still hear neurologist #4's voice say-
ing (after the initial consultation) that Parkinson's patients
don't typically have leg tremors. Do any of the list-folk out
there experience leg tremors or have you heard anything similar
from your neurologists?
I also have a friend in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area who e-mailed
me recently. As he was driving to work, one of those 3-way bill-
boards caught his attention. (You know the kind -- three differ-
ent signs on one billboard with long vertical strips that rotate
to get to the next sign.) What caught his attention he told me
was that as the sign-pieces were rotating he thought he saw some-
thing like "New procedure for Parkinson's ..." Has anybody in
that area of the States seen the sign or know what it's referring
to?
And just so I don't make this completely on-topic (as I seem
to normally do with my posts :-/) and for those who showed inter-
est in my Grand Funk Railroad fanaticism -- I received a present
earlier this year. The drummer, one Mr. Don Brewer, gave me one
of his old sets of touring drums -- and the touring cases with
GFR stenciled on the outside! I'm in "seventh heaven" (I wonder
what that phrase *really* means :-) ). I hope to have pictures
on my Web site before the end of the year.
