Mom takes Ditripan and it's very effective. Once in a while it seems to lose its effectiveness late in the evening or when she gets very tired, but it doesn't happen often. Overall, it works very well. Detrol is another option. We tried that, but Mom has strange reactions to some drugs, so that one didn't work for her. Hope this helps. Eleanor CG for Mother
