Hi David, I am amazed that my post can be in any way construed as "hate talk" and "bigotry." And I am amazed also that you can know so much about me, including my intelligence level, my political views, and even my "stance" on stem cell use (which I'm afraid to report is far from solid in either direction) from a couple of paragraphs. My point, or rather conjecture: maybe we are being sent a liferaft that we fail to recognize as a liferaft because it doesn't fit our picture of a liferaft that God would provide. While I enjoy the subtle message of this of this joke, and have told it many times myself..... I think in this context it shows bigotry. Those on this list that feel distressed at the taking of life are not against Stem Cell research, just the taking of innocent life. Especially when they feel that a fetus that is discarded, could be implanted into another infertile parent. You may be surprised, but I would be willing to bet that those you poke fun at are just as intelligent, caring, and rational as you or any other on this list. Your viewpoints probably represent almost half of the people on this list, perhaps even a greater number of those that are more vocal. But that dose not make this kind of hate talk right.
