FYI....I got this through another list I am on and thought you might find it of interest. Jen ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- - I've been helping my great-aunt manage her affairs. She has no presciption drug plan. Her S.S. check doesn't cover all her bills a month. So, I've been looking into discount and free medications. This is information my sister provided me with to get mail order medications: It is called Yourxplan the website is: www.yourxplan.com I am currently off meds, but I checked 50 mg. of PTU once daily for 180 days is $9.98 5 mg. of TAP once daily for 180 days is $68.06 Thought some of you with no prescription plan or no insurance could check. They have a calculator you put the name of medication in and they tell you what a supply will cost. You can get up to a one year supply by mail. They have a free 90 day trial available up until Nov. 30, 2000, then they charge $25.00 a yr. single, $40.00 a yr. family. Some meds there is a savings and some I don't think it is worth buying ahead of time. Check out the site.
