The numbers cited by Marjorie were figures provided to the site in question
by the chemical company's study. The company probably provides that kind of
information as an inducement for agencies and organizations to buy the stuff.

The original news cited a study done on rats. It was in no way conclusive
but suggested more study was needed. Current theory on the cause of PD is
genetic and environment.

Eliminating causitive factors while they may prevent future occurances, does
not shorten the time to find a cure.
