Thanks for all the replys. You guys are great. Murry,we live in
Georgetown SC. We are only 60 miles from Charleston home of MUSC,a
teaching hospital. My dad is 79 years old,but for the last 6 years he has
been taking care of my mom who had a stroke , she can do nothing but
feed herself. We have managed to get a sitter 5 days a week from 9 to 5.
We need around the clock care but dad refuses so far. Dad retired about
12 or 13 years ago from CHARLESTON NAVAL SHIPYARD, He was superviser
over the neuclear subs.He was in perfect health but shortly after
retirement he started losing weight. No one has found a reason for
this. Roger, thanks for the encouragement, I think it is wonderful
that your father got his life back. I would be thrilled to see my dad
get some balance and steadyness
back. Phil and
Kathrynne, thanks for the welcome and information you have been most
helpfull, also thanks for the PD caretakers group,I was not aware of
that.

Camilla, thanks for the phone number to find a MOVEMENT DISORDER
SPECIALIST. Can anyone tell me what kind of dr. this is???? I dont find
any listed in the yellow pages. Our neurologist is a young Russian,
probly frest out of school, I dont think he is experianced enough for
this. I will call the number you gave me and see how close one is to
us. I do appreciate all the time and help you have given me. Im sure
Im not through yet!!!
