Hi Erika
It sounds as though you are on the right track getting your mom to see a PD
specialist. We, my sister, brother and I experienced our mother laying on the floor for
what we guess was 20 hours. What a tragedy! I hope that you and your sister do
everything you can to get along during these times because it can be very stressful on
caregivers. The three of us fought quite a bit at first over what was best for mom but
have mellowed a bit and we seem to get along very good now.
