Hey Parkie-People... Several List members, myself included, attended a PD discussion yesterday (11/11) at Cedars Sinai Hospital where we had the pleasure of personally meeting one of their guest speakers - Kathrynne Holden! Yup - THAT Kathrynne Holden! OUR Kathrynne Holden! <smile> Gotta tell ya folks, I don't think any of us ever questioned Kathrynne's thorough knowledge of her profession, or her sensitivity and insight into the world of Parkinson's - both the disease itself - and the individuals who live with the disease from day to day. We've grown to know her fine mind, her quick and caring response if someone contacts her online, and her willingness to to stick her neck out to help PWPs in need the vast amount of information she's garnered about PD. We also have enjoyed her off-the-wall sense of humor!. Why Kathrynne DIDN'T tell us, is that she's absolutely drop-dead gorgeous!!! Inside and out... <smile> WHAT A treat it was to FINALLY have an "in-person" meeting with this fine and gracious woman, after knowing her online for the past 5 years. Barb Mallut [log in to unmask]
