I sent this to several friends last evening,
and decided that maybe on this
list that someone else is have a bad time of life right now and I just
want you to know, you are not alone! So am I.

" I could just scream.
Then of course this election hasn't helped, but I thought I was
doing okay with it till, coming home from Bob's
Doctor about noon today I turned on the car radio trying to
find out what that Judge in Tallahassee said at 11 a.m.
Well, turns out he hadn't said anything yet, but Bob turned
it to Public Radio and someone was in the middle of a Stem Cell
Interview with 2 Doctors. One had a British accent, and I never
did find out who he was, which when you turn into the middle of
something ,is what happens. The other Doctor was a Dr. Gebhart
or Gilhart , not sure of the name, but he was from John Hopkins
University and the woman interviewer asked if there were specific
disease which would benefit from Stem Cell Research?
He answered that
a Parkinson's Disease patient would benefit greatly from a stem
cell transplant. She then asked if Doctors knew exactly where in
the brain to place them, and he said "Yes, we know precisely where
to place them and it makes a big difference in these peoples lives".

Well, I started crying, I had to pull over I couldn't even see.
Bob thought I had lost my mind, but I just couldn't help it!!!
I still can't tell you what it triggered when he said "Yes, we
know precisely where to place them".

Later I realized exactly how near the edge I am.
As I told Bob, I have tried to explain Stem Cell Research to everyone
I could get to listen, and just as when I talk about computers, they have
no idea what I said, then on Public Radio, which millions of people listen
to, this Doctor explained it so people could understand what it meant to us."

Love,
Marjorie
