I'm sorry that you didn't recognize the homesickness in Bern's poem. I sent it to my Daughter in Germany who is also homesick and she cried when she read it, she said that was exactly what she was trying to tell her Husband and her Dad but she just wasn't as eloquent with words as Bern is.
