I am responding to my own post :-) but I have checked MEDLINE and
have found nothing to suggest that Lithium has value in the treatment
of cramps associated with Parkinson's disease or its treatment.

I found a few articles suggesting the use of botulinum toxin (Botox) in
the treatment of muscle cramps; and I also found several articles
which pointed out how Lithium can *aggravate* some of the
symptoms of Parkinson's. Bill (Harshaw), can you get your doc to
give you a cite for his reasoning?

Best,

Bob
