The first was a scrapbook with letters from each of her children and one from her pastor. She scanned photos and made a calendar and put in photos she'd gathered from family all over the country. The biggest part was the family tree she worked up. She researched Mom's father's family back to the 1500's. (She's now working on her Mother's side of the family and our Dad's.) The next year she got in touch with members of our church and old friends and asked that they send Christmas messages for Mother to her (Stacey), then she went to the Cottingham web site (Mom's maiden name, btw) and asked for messages from those folks. Mother got Christmas cards and E-mails from old friends and family from all over the country. One cousin sent pictures of herself and her family and memories of their childhood. She got E-mail from cousins we didn't know we had. It was so nice. We all enjoyed reading the messages. Eleanor
