During the Inkshed conference in May, Marcy Bauman and I sent in a proposal for
the Canadian Caucus to meet at the CCCC conference in Denver, March 14-17 2001. At
the Inkshed business meeting, we discussed subverting the selection process
slightly so that more of us could get funding to attend the Denver conference.
Thus, the Canadian Caucus will become a Roundtable, and any member of CATTW,
CASLL, or CSSR is welcome to join us to discuss their latest ideas.

I sent out this message on the CASLL list and have received a couple of responses.
There are a few others who sent tentative titles, but there's always room for
more. If your conference funding is dependent on your name being in the program,
this scheme won't help you, but if a letter inviting you to present your paper,
signed by a member of your professional organization would help, send me a title.
Here at the U. of W., we have members of all three Canadian Rhet/Comp
organizations (Tracy Whelan, Amanda Goldrick-Jones, Sharon Josephson, to name a
few) , so we can form a legitimate editorial committee.

If you're still not sure whether you want to join us in Denver, check out the
CCCCs web site: http://www.ncte.org/convention/cccc2001/

Could someone please forward this message to the CSSR list? It's the only one I'm
not on.

Thanks,
Janice Freeman, CAW
