I currently teach a Communication Skills class of 60 Computer Science students. I'm looking for information to support my suggestion to the administration that the class should be split in half. Do organizations such as ACCUTE, CASLL, CATTW, MLA, NCTE, or ATTW have policy statements recommending an ideal class size? Any research on the relationship of learning to class size in the fields of composition, communications, or technical writing would also be very helpful.
