Season's Greetings to all,

I am trying to build a pd holiday wish list for my mother
who is 80 (diagnosed 15 years ago).
Short of wishing to make her parinson's disappear,
can anyone help me out?
For any Canadians on the list,
are there any Canadian stores to order items from?

The following wish list is a small one that I found at the site I've listed
(I have no affiliation with this site, its sponsors or the stores it
names)...

A Holiday Wish List

*** With the holidays at hand, here are several inexpensive
gift-giving suggestions that can help make life a little easier for
loved ones with Parkinson's disease.

1. A small, battery-powered-alarm pill box (can be purchased at many
drugstores to help take the worry out of complicated medication schedules).

2. A speaker phone or a telephone headset (like those used by telephone
operators and office receptionists, can enable PD patients to talk on the
telephone free of hand tremors).

3. An intercom system or portable walkie-talkies (can offer the added
security of being able to keep in contact with others in the house).

4. Magic Markers® or large-tip felt pens (can help compensate for
"shrinking" handwriting).

In addition to these items, Sears Roebuck and Co and JC Penney Co Inc offer
catalogs featuring bath and body therapy products, fitness and wheelchair
equipment, and a complete line of fashionable, innovative clothing with
full-length Velcro® closures. To receive the JC Penney Special Needs catalog
call 1-800-222-6161. The Sears Home Health Care catalog can be ordered by
calling 1-800-326-1750.

change the things we can and wisdom to know the difference" )
