Message-ID: <[log in to unmask]>

WE MOVE received the Bronze award in the category "Best Healthcare
Non-Profit Organization on the Web" from eHealthcareWorld in a ceremony
in
New York, December 5, 2000. The goal of the eHealthcareWorld Awards is to
"recognize and promote groundbreaking achievement in the creation,
development and execution of eHealth through stellar Web sites." Web
sites
were judged on a range of criteria, including content and design,
structure and functionality, ease of navigation, interactivity, and
usability.

The award was accepted by Judith Blazer, Executive Director, on behalf of
WE MOVE's online team, including Cameron Moyer, Web designer and
programmer, and Joy E. Bartnett, emerging media specialist and medical
writer. The Gold award winner in this category was
http://www.KidsHealth.org. The Silver award was given to
http://www.Hopkins-Arthritis.org.

The WE MOVE Web site, at http://www.wemove.org, currently receives
approximately 1,000 visits per day. New features on our site include an
updated calendar of CME activities and medical meetings, current research
grant announcements and application information, and the complete meeting
report from Toxins'99. Information designed for patients includes links
to
support organizations, disorder-specific information with a
patient-friendly glossary of terms, Web chats and newsletters, and a
calendar of meetings and events.
