Rita,

Alan Bonander was a very early member of this list, one
we all held in great respect. More than a pill-popping
PWP, he fed Mr. Parkinson through a tube directly into
his stomach. He was a lot wiser than most of us,
determined not to let PD stand in the way of his life.
His determination to get me out of my depression led to
many an hour emailing and talking. He passed away a
number of years ago.

David Boots, another PWP whom a number of us admire,
left the list a number of years ago because a few
self-anointed list gods didn't like his writings. Those
writings, like so many that have appeared since then,
were about our lives and our PD. Just like Bernard's
poetry, they spoke to the heart of many PWPs, but
slammed against the grain of those who maintain that
this list is not about PWP's, rather it is about PD.

The archives are filled with the writings of both Alan
and David. It's worth the trip.
