The Active X message has to do  with Windows Internet security being set  on  High.  Do you have automatic updates for Windows set ON?  I understand that setting Security down a notch will eliminate this message - at what expense to Update don't know.

On the same post from Mary Remus,
I got a security warning, something about Active X control.   I am using MS
ME with all the latest security precautions, but I have no virus software
loaded. I did not know that windows ME had that capability.
