I had a similar experience a while ago.  It was caused by an acute drop in blood pressure.  Many of the PD meds can cause a lowering of your BP.
Sleep attacks are completely different.  You won't feel dizzy with a sleep attack.  You'll just fall asleep very quickly, without warning.  If your health can accept it try raising your caffeine intake.
