Hello Phil,
             Reduced armswing and jerky arm bend were the first symptoms
that I was aware of before I was actually diagnosed with pd, aged 34, (now
46).
In my case, medication did help, but it was a case of finding the right
level, initially Madopar 62.5mg did not have any effect but when increased
to 125 mg that did the trick.
