Sea Shore.

A stroll along the peaceful beach,
Long rolling waves just out of my reach.
Sand crunching under my willing feet,
Feeling the day's beginning heat.
Sea Gulls sweeping the crests of the waves,
The feeling of gladness that my heart so craves.
There can be no greater joy for me,
Than a leisurely stroll by the sea.
A boat far off from the land,
Children playing in the yellow sand.
Tangent smell of salt in the air,
This is something that I would like you to share.
A rusting anchor chained to the shore,
Floating on restless waves a broken oar.
Above all I hear Neptune's call,
Reminding me, that to him, I owe it all.
The simple pleasures of the sea shore,
Are there today and forever more.
