The "nasty cut" you mention probably was much more painful than
DBS will be.

Subject: DBS surgery

Just seen my Nero and he has suggested that I not put off my
decision to have DBS surgery any longer as we have tried
everything we can think of and still can not get these trimmers
under control. I gave my self a nasty cut "4 stitches " trying to
cut up a piece of ham the other day so its time to do something.
I would like to be able to feed myself and drink a cup of coffee
without getting more on me than in me. The problem is I am wimpy
when it comes to this sort of thing. One look at the pictures of
surgery and I am ready to run. How can I get over this fear? Some
of you have already had this done and I would like to know if you
also had these fears and if so how did you get past it. I am
going to have this done I just find it scary. any suggestions?
Thanks
Doug
