Hi, My wife, who has PD, and also damaged her sacral nerves in a fall two years ago, has had the 7 day trial, without noticing any effect on her PD. (She does not have tremor). Her problem is retention, caused by the nerve damage. Unfortunately, there was no improvement in her problem. Her urologist, who is the leading specialist in use of the stimulator in South Australia, said that the response (if it is successful) is immediate and dramatic, which seems to be at odds with the statement in the information you retrieved. Some alteration to the stimulation strength, frequency, etc maybe necessary to achieve the best results. Her neurologist thinks that PD may have affected her Autonomic Nervous System (which controls bladder function), as he considers that her retention problem is much more severe than he would expect the nerve damage to cause. This may explain why the stimulator treatment did not help her.
