I have made it one of the most important things to do in my life. I am 51
years young and am in a great shape. Exercise in the form of sports, that is
my way of exercise. Often when  I am very "off" and my meds have a hard time
to kick in I do some exercise to stimulate my body. I also have an  exercise
machine where I can train my muscles. Here is my weekly program :

Monday evening I play table-tennia, they call it here ping pong, from 6.30
till about 8.00.  It is a very explosive sport, meaning that one has many
peaks in performance. I work meself up in sweat.  Tabletennis is immediately
followed by basketbal. I am a lousy player but I love the  exercise. Besides
that, as well as the tablennis as the basketball is with people from church.
That gives us a nice way to learn each other know better.

Tuesday evening is my bowling evening. The first leage starts at 6.30  pm.We
bowl 3 games and then the second league starts at 8.30. We play 3 games
again. This will last untill  10.15  pm. after  this I will bowl about 1.5
hour in which I usually about 15 games  bowl. Friday evening  I have always
a date....with my lovely wife....We eat in a well known Seafood restaurant
and after that we bowl till midnight. Often I  bowl at least one more time
in the week. My T-shirt is soaking wet after one of my training sessions.

At least once a  week I play golf. I walk  the  course and because I am not
such a great golfer I make more yards than absolutely needed. My swing is
not good enough for long shots but I use a driver where other people use an
iron and they quit laughing when they see I don't hit the ball over the
green. And yes, we are blessed with beaitiful weather in Texas:)

Last but not least, I play in a summer softball league. I had never played
softball till two seasons ago,   they asked me to play. And I  love it !!  I
start in April with practizing in the  batting cage.

When  I have a day of little movement,  I need  to do something !! I get
stiff when I don't do my exercise. I use my medication faster, I run faster
out of energy, but I am not 18 anymore....I am 51 and going for the 100 !!
