Yes she has been evaluated. She is now set up to see Dr Phillips in Yuba City. She was diagnosed in Stockton at the Walton Regonial School. Also at Mental Health in Stockton and again here in Yuba City....... I would love to have them both evaluated at UCDavis but I understand appointments are very hard to get and there is so much that needs to be checked, I am very good about cardiologis appoinments and liver ultrasounds, follow up blood work for medication levels. Laura had been checked out completely by Dr Eugene Lamazar in Stockton and he perscribed clonadine and tenex later we moved and meds changed and now she is off of all meds .......My little boy who has been diagnosed ARND by his neurologist and suffers from Drug and Alcohol Fetally Induced Parkinsonism.....he is eight years old.....suffers from tremmors, walks on tippi toes runs and jumps like tigger all day right untill he finally lays down to sleep...he takes AM NOON BED 1 clonadine0.1 mg 1clonadine 0.1mg 21/2 clonadine 0.1mg 1 tenex 1.mg 1 tenex 1.mg 2 Depakote 2 Depakote 1/2 remeron 15mg tab He is still very hyper and now with the depakote he seems to focus better he is able to communicate very well and doesn't get frustated trying to tell something and lose the thought any more. He was checked for torettes because of the tippi toe walk and he does not have that problem. These kids were exposed to hard liq. beer, pot, crank and cocaine . Mother and father both admitted to those who knows what they didn't confess to. My little boy does not have the Fas face but hand and feet are typical but very moderate. The little girl has the rounder face flatter and a much wider nose but still looks "NORMAL" at school the problem seems to be just that they both look and appear very typical but speech problems , vision and attention comprehension, retention are the problems plus being able to sit still long enough... I am grasping at straws here and need some advice, or incouragement......feal like I am sinking fast.....How do I get to a place that will make these diagnosis? My little girl is on SSI and am sure she will have to be cared for by me or someone after I am gone.. as I am almost 50 and she is only 10 great iece and nephew and have had them since the eight year old was seven months. It will be eight years on Feb 21, and we have come along way. On days like today when my little one looks at me and says"I love you so much Aunt Debbie" that it all seems worth the hospital visits and the rages, the screaming fits, the terrible twos that are now the terrable eights and the look on my little girls face when she talks about the boys at school and she is gonna be a good mom just like me some day.My heart jumps up into my throat and all I want to do is lock her in the house away fom boys and keep her pregnant free if you get my meaning. I apologize for the rambling but I live in a kid zone and adult conversation is very hard to come by and missed . Debbie
