CLINICAL TRIAL OF AN EXPERIMENTAL MEDICATION FOR
PARKINSON’S DISEASE
This is a controlled clinical trial of an experimental drug, Rasagiline
Mesylate. Rasagiline Mesylate is a novel type B monoamine oxidase
inhibitor that may be of benefit for early Parkinson’s disease patients. In
this clinical trial, the drug will be studied to determine the best tolerated
dosage and its impact on the features of Parkinson’s disease.

Qualifications:  Diagnosis of idiopathic Parkinson’s disease
not taking or requiring any antiparkinsonian medication.

Involvement: The study will last 1 year and include 11 office visits.
