Hi! My mother is 80 years old and has been a PD patient for seven years. She is taking Mirapex and Symmetrel three times a day. Recently she has been suffering from loss of taste even though her smell sense has not been affected. I took her to a specialist and found nothing wrong with her. I would like to now if the loss of taste could be another sympton of the PD or if it is a result of the medications she is taking. Thanks, Nitza Marquez
