Waukesha Obituaries Ronald W. Sylvan From the Journal Sentinel Last Updated: Feb. 20, 2001 Memorial services will be Saturday for Ronald W. Sylvan, 68, of Oconomowoc, who died Monday at Shorehaven Health Center in Oconomowoc. He was a lawyer in Menomonee Falls. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and its Law School. He served in the Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the Oconomowoc Golf Club and Club 40 Dance Club in Oconomowoc. Survivors include his wife, Mary; two sons, Randy (Sandy Mielke) of Oconomowoc and Scott (Gail) of Milwaukee; a daughter, Lynn (Thomas) Mount of Oconomowoc; his mother, Margaret Sylvan of Middleton; a sister, Jane (William) Hillsenhof of Middleton; and four grandchildren. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Saturday until the services at 11 a.m. at St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church, W359-N8512 Brown St., Mapleton. Father David Verhasselt will officiate. Burial of the ashes will follow in the church cemetery. Schmidt & Bartelt Notbohm-Kreutzmann Funeral Home, 121 S. Cross St., Oconomowoc, is handling the arrangements. Memorials to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation or the donor's favorite charity were suggested.
