While I've had PD for twenty years, I have never experienced physical pain as a result.

My wife, Esther, has multiple sclerosis and has had chronic pain at the 5 to 10 level on a 1 to 10 scale for five years. None of the analgesics - including a potent cocktail of 60 mg of morphine and100 mg of Demerol every eight hours provided adequate relief. She had DBS neurosurgery, thalamic stim, in Sept. '00,had the stimulator implanted Feb. 19 and will have it turned on March 13. We're confident it will work.

In the early pain days, 4 -5 yrs ago, she found the tens machine very useful.

Cheers,

Bill
