     "Links for a Cure 2001"

A Golf Outing and Family Fun Day
for Parkinson's Disease Awareness and Funding for Research

     sponsored by the Parkinson Alliance
     Saturday 07 July 2001

     ------------------------------------------------------------------

     Dear Friend:

We are your neighbors and people you see each day at work,
shopping and running errands; but we have come together to fight a
devestating and debilitating and, as yet, incurable disease:
     Parkinson's.

It has been all over the news lately, with Michael J. Fox bringing
a new face to what was once thought of as an 'old folks' disease'.

It is our goal and our hope that you will join us in finding a
     cure.

We are planning a Golf Tournament and Family Fun Day on Saturday,
July 7th, 2001. As you can see from our list of committee members,
we have been able to assemble a 'dream team' to help implement our
plans. We are honored to have three members of the media on board:
Gina Morss from Week-TV 25; Karen Moewe from the Chillicothe
Independent; and Terry Bibo from the Peoria Journal Star.

Enclosed with this letter, you will find a copy of the various
Sponsorship Levels with the advantages for each. There are various
opportunities available to become a sponsor; many items are needed
for door prizes, and, as always, monetary dontations are always
     appreciated to help defray expenses!

A portion of the proceeds from this event will go directly to the
Parkinson Alliance, where the money will be matched dollar for
dollar (up to $50,000.00) and go directly to Parkinson's research.

A portion will remains in the community to help fund local
research being done at the University of Illinois College of
Medicine, the People Living With Parkinson's Organization, and the
Claude Scott Memorial Scholarship Fund at IVC High School.

We can offer you lots of publicity in return for your generosity,
as well as the feeling of satisfaction that comes along with your
donation to this very worthy cause. We look forward to celebrating
with you just as soon as a cure is discovered!

If you would like to request our tax-exempt number, need any other
information, or if you have questions, please call me - Joan
Blessington Snyder at 309-579-3026. Thank you in advance for your
     consideration and support.

     Sincerely,
     Joan Blessington Snyder
