I just read the NYTimes article which mentioned that Dr. Freed, one of the lead researchers in the study, has performed this same procedure 27 times, independently of this funded study (these patients paid for their procedures), and that he inserted different amounts of fetal cells in different parts of these patients' brains. He said that he was experimenting with these variables. Anybody know how THESE folks are doing now? Dr. Fink, was this mentioned at all at the conference you attended?
