John and Donna, That was a terrific letter-to-the-editor about stem cell funding. Thanks for sharing it with the list. I received a mailing from PAN today, asking people to do exactly what you did -- write letters and opinion pieces for regional and local newspapers, to help"put a human face on the issue by illustrating the real-life impact" this research could have. Also suggested sending a copy of whatever we write to our representatives and senators and ask for a response.
