Hello,
I'm on apomorphine since early February, and it works wonders for me. It makes me a bit tired initially, but it takes me from badly off to a perfect on in 8-10 minutes. The effect lasts 20-30 minutes, just enough to cover the time span until a Madopar Quick Mite, taken at the same time, kicks in. (YYMV, though, as always.)

Overdosing makes me feel extremely tired, weak and heavy. Hypersexuality is a side-effect that might appear too when you overdose heavily. Not a nice kind of arousal; been there, done that, don't want to do it again. I took a deliberate overdose at the hospital, when I tried out the medicine. The doc wanted me to know how it felt, so I could identify the symptoms of taking a bit too much.
- Involuntary movements? Sure thing. Rock'n'roll! ;-)

Take care, and don't forget the
/John

> Hello to all- I have signed up for an investigational cliinical trial for an injectable drug to adress the "on-off" syndrome associated with the long term use of sinemet. The drug is apomorphine. I have researched the web and found out a lot, but has anyone had personal experience with this medication? The injections are given sub-cutaneously by the patient. Thanks in advance for your responses.
